PROCESSThe process fluids category includes fluids that are normally transferred between different sites (Midstream), which are obviously also involved at the beginning and end of the refining processes, as well as intermediate fluids contained in the various refining phases carried out within the plant (Downstream).

Fuel Oil

Many products, mostly fuels, can be obtained through vacuum distillation. They are then transferred to areas of the plant for refining. These are intermediate products that do not yet fulfil market technical specifications and must therefore be transformed through further desulphurisation, cracking, reforming processes. At the end of these processes, the commercial fuels are transferred back to the refinery terminal.
